We are children of God. This book can teach you how to become a child of God too. We are not talking about joining a church. We are talking about being adopted into an eternal supernatural family. We call ourselves Christians, followers of Christ, children of God, etc. But we do not have a monopoly on these terms.

Faith is so simple. It's just believing what someone says... taking their word for it.
The Bible says that Jesus is the Word of God.
"In the beginning was the Word... and the Word became a person (Jesus)... and as many as received him, to them God gave power to become his children." (John 1:1-14)
Nearly all the natural things that God has created are visible illustrations of unseen spiritual realities, to help us understand them and grasp their truth. Sex, for example, is God's illustration of the tremendous experience of being baptised (or overwhelmed) with his Spirit. It far surpasses the pleasures of sex, which are just a symbol of the spiritual unity of Christ with his Bride - you!
God used about 40 different people who were yielded to his Spirit, to give us the Bible. As Peter said, "Prophecies did not come in old times by the will of people; but holy followers of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Peter 1:21) The many fulfilled prophecies in the Bible are the greatest proof that it is inspired by God.
When Jesus walked by the shores of Galilee, he called some fishermen who had just caught the biggest haul of their lives: "Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men!" Immediately they forsook all and followed him! (Luke 5:2-11) They forsook the fish, the nets, their boat, their livelihood, their old life, and even their poor old father!
Jesus didn't preach 10% or 50% or 70%, but total 100% living for God: Living in a totally new society, loving one another, and always seeking the truth.
As long as we live what we preach (i.e. 100% living for God), the world will see a living, relevant Jesus in us as we become his Body. This is the greatest way of preaching by example.Jesus' last prayer for his disciples was that "they may be one... that the world may believe... and know that you (God) have sent me." (John 17:21-23)
